Your torso drawing is really good!! I think the lighting on yours still is plausible, but judging from the cliff behind him being dark, the only way to achieve this lighting on your character would be that the “cameraman” (fourth wall) brought some lighting equipment. So, I’ve assumed the light source differently. It does take the focus away from the characters torso like you intended, but it does place him in the scene a bit better. If anything, you could always add some extras to draw attention to the character. Maybe some water droplets on hi torso that shine in the sun. I also reconstructed the face a little as the anatomy was slightly off, hope you don’t mind. It’s rough as I did this quite quickly, but I hope it’s helpful in some way.
