Hello there! Good work so far! You need to adjust the values a bit more, since the light and shadow values are currently too similar, which makes the illustration feel somewhat flat. Now, regarding the lighting, the first thing you need to establish is the direction of the light source. Knowing where the light is coming from will make it much clearer which areas should remain in shadow and which areas should be illuminated. Another thing that can help a lot is thinking of objects as simple forms, such as boxes or cylinders. Doing this makes it much easier to paint the graphic shadow shapes and build a solid foundation before refining the lighting forms with more detail. Hope this helps!
