Hey there! Sorry for the late reply. I hope this can still be of some help. I really like the idea of viewing the character from a higher angle. What I would do is exaggerate the gesture of the pose to give it more personality. A very straight pose tends to feel stiff. Notice that I used an "S" curve running through the body. This helps exaggerate the pose, gives it more character, and makes it feel much more dynamic from this particular camera angle. Likewise, if you make the braids follow a similar curved flow, the overall pose will feel even more dynamic. Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
