Hey there! The issue mainly comes down to the proportions. The right shoulder and arm are slightly too small, but more importantly, it’s the shape and volume of the armor pieces, especially the front section. The front armor plate (I’m not sure what the proper term is haha) needs to feel much more curved. In your drawing, it appears too flat or straight. Try to keep the volume of the objects in mind. You can lightly draw contour lines over the forms to better understand their volume and orientation in space. As for line quality, here are some simple rules to keep in mind: Use thicker lines for: - Outer contours - Overlapping forms (especially the form in front) - Shadow sides or areas of ambient occlusion - Focal points Use thinner lines for: - Internal details - Areas with less visual importance Also, for the next one, take a photo from the front.
