Hello there! I’ll focus on line quality and lighting. First of all, think of thicker lines when drawing main contours, contours on the shadow side, areas of ambient occlusion, shadows not directly affected by light, and overlapping forms. Use thinner lines for internal details, low-interest areas, or where forms don’t overlap as much. Check the small example at the top. I applied this approach when adjusting your character. Now, when painting, always think about the direction of the light—what areas are directly affected and which ones fall into shadow. This helps you avoid shading (or lighting) randomly. Also, keep simple forms in mind, cylinders, spheres, and boxes, to achieve better results. In this case, the light is coming from the right side, so everything on the left remains in shadow since it’s not directly hit by the light, but it can still be affected by ambient light. By ambient light, I mean things like the gray tones from the background influencing areas exposed to the “sky.” I didn’t apply it here, but it’s definitely something worth studying further :) Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
