Hey! I understand how challenging it can be to start with digital drawing, especially when using a screenless tablet, you’re used to looking at the paper while drawing. But it really just comes down to practice Regarding line weight: First of all, avoid making multiple sketchy strokes or going over the same line again and again. That tends to make drawings look messy and can also communicate a lack of confidence. It’s better to aim for a single, clean stroke (or at most, drawing the line twice). Try to use your whole arm (drawing from the elbow) instead of just your wrist. Use thicker lines for contours, shadows, or overlapping forms, and thinner lines for internal details. Not everything needs to have the same line weight. I believe there’s a video about this on the Artwod YouTube channel, you might want to check it out. As for tools: I highly recommend learning with the default brushes in whatever program you’re using. It’s very tempting to download tons of brushes, there are so many! But keeping things simple is much better. As you improve, you can experiment more, but for now, a basic round brush is more than enough hehe. Hope this helps! :) | Artwod Feedback
