Hey there! So good you're drawing again! And it looks great despite not being drawn after a 15-year break :D One simple way to understand head perspective is by using the Loomis head or thinking in terms of boxes (boxes are always helpful for any perspective problem). Another tip is to find the brow line, as it gives you a clear indication of the head’s tilt and angle. To place the nose, mouth, eyes, etc., I recommend following the center line of the head. This runs through the middle of the nose and mouth, which will help you position these features more accurately. The eyes are positioned around the level of the wings of the nose (see the purple vertical line I drew). If you have the chance, I highly recommend taking the Artwod course on portraits. It’ll help you level up significantly! Hope this helps, and keep drawing!
