Hey! Good job so far! When it comes to extreme angles… this might sound a bit obvious, but the key is to make the sphere’s structure, meaning the contour lines for the eyebrows and nose, strictly follow the angle. For example, in the last drawing of the second row, we can see the underside of the sphere, but you drew it as if we were viewing the face slightly from below, while still trying to keep that extreme low-angle perspective. Keep in mind the overlap of forms: the nose can almost overlap the forehead, and the mouth can sit very close to the base of the nose because of that angle. I hope that makes sense; it’s a bit tricky to explain through text alone, haha. On another note, you can maintain head proportions with a simple rule: Divide the face into two parts: from the top of the head to the eyebrows, and from the eyebrows to the chin. This is a helpful way to keep proportions consistent when drawing the head at different angles. Now, about the eyes: You’ve drawn them very differently from the reference, and you’re not really considering the shape shown in the example. That’s why it ends up looking like a completely different person. Pay close attention to those kinds of details. Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
