I think the problem is just the angle that you’ve drawn the boxes at is hiding the missing sides. What’s not helping you is that your forms in perspective still need work. A couple of issues I’m seeing is that your lines don’t have a defined vanishing point. Obviously your VPs would be off the page but you still need to try to visualize where those points are. The second issue is that your boxes don’t follow their own logic. What I mean is you’ve drawn them as rectangles but you’re treating them as cubes when you twist them. For example your top two boxes only have a quarter turn but the ends closest to the viewer have been turned halfway. You’ve drawn the two ends of the box and then tried to twist them. One last minor thing I want to point out. If you’re going to add hatching to shade one side of the box, it will help you a lot to shade in the direction of the contour lines.
