Hey! To draw foreshortening properly, you need a stronger understanding of perspective first. Because in the end, foreshortening is really just perspective drawing. Notice how the issue becomes much easier to solve when you simplify the forms into cylinders, especially for the forearm. A common approach is to first draw the ellipses and then connect them afterward. Doing this gives you a much clearer sense of the perspective and orientation of the form. On top of those simple forms, you can then build more complex shapes to represent the arm structure and muscles. For the hand, it’s the same principle: think in simple forms first, like boxes, so you can properly construct the hand in perspective. Hope this helps!
