Hello there! It feels a bit odd because two different perspectives are happening in the drawing. On one hand, the body is drawn from a frontal view, while the arms, especially the right arm, and the weapon feel more like they belong to a 3/4 pose. I think the ideal solution, and something that would also make the pose more interesting, would be to fully commit to a 3/4 view. Drawing the pose in 3/4 gives you the opportunity to push the gesture further. Notice how I emphasized the bending and even added a slight twist to the lower torso. Because of the arm positioning, the torso naturally needs some twisting for the pose to feel believable. I feel this approach also helps communicate the character’s narrative more effectively. Having the spear piercing through the body while the torso bends gives a stronger sense of pain or physical reaction. Hope this helps!
