Yo! This one looks amazing! :D So cool you drew and painted this fella from imagination :D I wish I could design characters like this one haha . Anyway. You can push the lighting by painting stronger light and shadows. It's great to start with a soft shadow mapping, tho. This allows you to paint shadows more in-depth (like ambient occlusion, bounce light, core shadows, etc.). From here, you can decide whether you want to keep working on the midtones only or push the lighting a bit for better contrast. On the other hand. I personally like to add more colour variation/vibrancy in the shadows, instead of just painting analog colours by following the colour skin (nothing bad with it, but I feel it a bit boring), so notice that I painted some purple-ish hues in some parts to add more vibrancy.
