Try to define the forms a bit more, especially in the torso: the ribcage, abdomen, and pelvis. IMO, these shapes are the most important to define in a gesture drawing. Also, try to avoid placing two “C” curves right next to each other (a teacher of mine used to call them “tamarinds” haha). It’s usually better to have a curved line on one side and a straighter line on the opposite side. This helps add more dynamism to the pose and makes your lines feel more fluid. Look for these straight–to–curve contrasts, even when the reference pose (if you’re using one) appears somewhat stiff. Look for artists who use "Force" when drawing gestures.
