Great work, looks really detailed and it's traditionally drawn which makes it tough to dedicate really dark shadows. I would leave the dark in the glaive's/spear out, because you use it as a shadow too. So i went overboard with the shadow on my overpaint, but it's not my best skill to draw like that. I was thinking a bit in the range of hellboy/spawn, like those comics use such strong shadows. But for your drawing you can't go back once you put it on, maybe you could make some thumbnails of it and make small tests when you do another next time. Then you have a bit of an idea how you wanna shade it.

Hey there! It looks great! I completely understand the fear of working with ink. I don’t use the technique very often myself because of a lack of confidence haha, but hopefully I’ll start using it more soon. Anyway, The only thing I would suggest is adding some solid black areas to help emphasize the important focal points, such as the face and the sword. Notice how filling the inside of the chainmail and the mouth with black helps the head stand out much more. The same idea applies to the sword. Darkening the underside of it would give it more visual weight and importance. I honestly don’t have much else to add, great work! Hope this helps!
