Lab Tech Angel

Ok, I´m making this sort of combination between an angel statue and a Hazmat/ Radiantion suit and i'm struggling with choosing colors, i want the character's suit to be an 70-80% yellow like a Hazmat suit and i want its skin colorwith a grayish tone like a stone or marble statue.

Studying the expression of surprise/astonishment. I have some difffculties lowering down the jaw when I draw the mouth open

Cylinders

Attempting to draw cylinders constructed around a minor axis they look pretty off not sure why

Practicing ellipses

They look pretty bad not sure how I can improve.

I need help on: "how to deconstruct curly hair?"

So I know this reference is not very practical to find actual chunks of hair, I tried 2 things essentially: -creating a big stain to give the idea of hair (did not work) -deconstructing the curls in a more simplified manner (did not work)
