Hey, your art is super cool! I was impressed at the level of detail you put into your artwork, especially in places like the jacket and the rocks. The advice I would give you is to focus on the areas that are the most important. Even small changes to these areas make the biggest impact on your impression of the work. In this case, it's the face (which is usually the focus), and the hand on the right -- those are the two places you should be looking at first, that tell you this guy is badass. Keeping that in mind, I changed the composition to put the hand and face in the center more. I pushed the foreshortening on that arm to give it more depth and emphasize it. I also made the card much bigger to match his movement more, so that it feels more dynamic. (Foreshortening is the idea that things closer to the "camera" are larger) I added more contrast and detail to the face because it's one of our focal points. I also fixed the eyes to make him look at the camera. Adding just a little more definition to that area really changes the overall impression! I made some other small changes, but basically the idea is to give more attention to the places you want people to focus on. When those areas have more detail and contrast, they easily become the first things you look at! Then, you can have the other elements of your artwork frame and emphasize them (which the background you drew does very well!) I hope this makes sense and was somewhat helpful ( ; ^_^)
