Hello there! The pose itself feels a bit stiff right now. It would help a lot to push the gesture more to give the character additional personality, in other words, exaggerate the pose a bit further. Notice how the shoulders tilt upward while the hips tilt downward. The legs also shouldn’t stay completely straight; they should follow the flow of the torso gesture. For example, the character’s right leg becomes the supporting leg because of the tilt of the pelvis. On top of that, the arm resting on the waist needs more volume. In my sketch, the upper arm moves backward while the forearm points forward, which helps the form feel more dimensional. If your goal is to draw comics, I’d highly recommend studying perspective first as a core foundation. Mastering perspective is extremely important because it allows you to draw poses from different angles, something very common in comics. Hope this helps!
