Yo! These are really strong thumbnails—I like all the ideas. That said, #2 and #4 are definitely the most interesting ones. Just a few notes: #1: The pose feels a bit unbalanced, and the shovel and lantern are roughly the same size. You could push the pose more, maybe make it feel like the character is walking, and scale up the shovel. Adding a hat could also help unify the design by repeating that triangular shape language. #2: This one is working really well. You could try incorporating the coffin skull elements into the character so both share the same visual language. Also, the coffin feels slightly misaligned; straightening it a bit might help. #3: If the entire character is filled in black, the silhouette becomes less interesting. You could push the proportions—maybe a smaller upper body and larger lower body—and separate the shovels more from the torso to improve readability. #4: This one is strong too. I’d just push the gesture further, so it really feels like the character is carrying a heavy shovel. That added exaggeration would make it more believable. Hope this helps!
