Hey! Great gesture! :) Ideally, it is best to visualise the torso as simple shapes. Once you have done this, identify the three main parts: the ribcage, the abdomen and the pelvis. Think of shapes such as boxes and cylinders. Thinking in terms of simple shapes will help you to understand perspective and angle, and whether the torso is twisting or bending.
