Hello there! Nice work here! I really like the scene It feels cozy. However, I think what's holding it back is the atmospheric hierarchy. Everything carries the same visual importance: the staircase, the door, the plants, and the pergola. In my opinion, the door should be the focal point. Because of that, I would create larger shadow shapes rather than just a few leaf patterns on the wall. Instead, I would concentrate the larger masses of light near the door, either on the ground, which would help guide the viewer toward it, or on the staircase itself. Imagine the pergola casting a large network of shadows across the entire wall and floor. Suddenly, the scene goes from being a pleasant illustration to feeling like a real place where sunlight is filtering through the leaves.
