Hey! What a beautiful piece! I really love the mood and the composition! The next thing I think you could focus on is achieving better contrast between your planes and your focal point. If we turn your illustration to values, you’ll notice that the house and the foreground in general blend a bit with the midground and slightly with the background. It’s always a good idea to constantly switch to a value scale to make sure your main silhouettes and planes are clearly separated. To achieve this, you could push the lighting a bit further (which is also something I’m still learning myself, how to create stronger contrasts and even storytelling through lighting). I made two options: one where only the lower part of the house is lit, keeping the rest of the house and the foreground terrain darker to separate it from the midground and background; and another option where the façade is illuminated. In both cases, the contrast between the planes improves a bit (in the second option, I forgot to lighten the background to reduce the values haha). On another note, try to avoid having warm colors everywhere. You can introduce cooler colors in the shadows and warmer tones in the lights to create better color contrast. I’d also recommend doing master studies, both from classic and contemporary artists, and studying films as well. In movies, lighting is usually very intentional and carefully designed to support storytelling through light and color. And then apply what you've studied to your illustrations. That's something I usually do in my free time. I study something and then apply that to an illustration. Hope this helps!
