I don’t see any major issues with the composition overall, but I think you could increase the values of the dragon to create a stronger contrast between the character and the dragon. That way, you’d get a clearer “dark over light”, which would help the character’s silhouette stand out even more. Doing this would slightly reduce the detail in the dragon’s face, though. You could also paint a bit along the character’s silhouette using an Overlay layer to create those warm tones in the transition between light and shadow. I didn’t do it here, but you could also paint the character’s garment with a slightly lighter tone to prevent it from looking almost black, while still keeping it within the darker value range.
