hello! i finished this piece and i feel like there's some stuff i can improve but i can't quite spot my mistakes, can i get some help with the figure and perspective? maybe colors aswell, but my main difficult is that the pose feels off. thanks for any help!

Reworked the tail based on feedback, I tried to keep the silouhette nice and readable while modifying a bit the size and the origin.

Perspective Guidline Practice

Before moving on to the next lesson on the roadmap, i thought about practising the concepts from the ‘perspective guideline’ lesson on other images. I believe i have found the correct horizon line, as you can see underneath the cornices on the building, but I'm not a 100% sure, as i am still very new to this. Finding 2 parallel lines that cross to find the horizon line doesn’t really work for this image.

I have decided to do a few version of the revision, since thats what I have been doing for most of the recent time. I should have done these with more references, but I just kinda got into the flow and did them without. What I struggled the most doing the revised versions are a) details or ilusion of them b) foreground. When things are far its okay, but closeups are my bane it seems, or at the very least a skill not learned yet

I wanted to capture the feeling of a more or less mythical obelisk on a small hill, surrounded by a heather field and encompased by a small forest. I have done this around march 2025, back when most of my knowledge came from drawabox
