I really love the style of your illustration :D Just a few small observations: To start, you could adjust the values to give the character more volume, as it feels a bit flat right now due to the lack of stronger shadows. Try thinking of the body as simple forms like cylinders, this will help you shade the arms and body more effectively. Regarding values, I made a few adjustments: I kept the lower area more in shadow since it’s not the main point of interest. This helps create stronger contrast in the upper area, where the focal point is. Remember, as the artist, you decide where the viewer’s attention goes. I also kept the background slightly lighter to help the character stand out. I like the visual flow created from the arm holding Nico’s arm up toward her face. You could use that line to guide the lighting toward the face as well. On the other hand, the hand on the right that points downward pulls attention away a bit. To counter that, you could add some flower petals that redirect the eye back upward. Other than that, I really like how it’s coming along :D Hope this helps!
