Hey! Beautiful illustration! Right now, everything feels a bit flat because there isn’t much lighting established yet. You could darken the background so the moon and the mouse stand out more clearly. Since the moon is the main light source, you can also darken the lower part of the mouse while keeping the upper part more illuminated, think of it like lighting a sphere. On the other hand: Paint some shadows inside the moon’s craters to add more volume and prevent everything from looking flat. You can also add a glow around the moon so it stands out more. A nice approach would be to keep the center slightly darker while illuminating the outer edges, which would help strengthen the rim glow. As for the text: I’d personally remove it from its current position and perhaps place it lower in the composition, where it would be easier to read and wouldn’t compete so much with the moon and mouse as the main focal points.
