Hi, I’m not a professional, but here’s my take on it. First, align the eyes and bring the jawline closer to the facial features; usually, the distance between the jaw and the eye is about the width of one eye (or slightly more). Then, shorten the mouth a bit so it ends closer to the inner corner of the eye. You mentioned the face looking flat, and I think that’s mostly due to the shading, so I added deeper shadows under the nose, below the mouth, and beneath the neck. I actually created a version in my own style first without realizing it, which is why the version on the right uses the Liquify tool and layer modes. I have a stylized approach but use real people as references; that really helps with shading and facial features. I think a center line on the face—and a line for the eyes—can help with these 3/4 views. | Artwod Feedback
