Hey there! You've already received some great feedback from Andrew. :) I'd still like to share a few thoughts of my own. I usually start by establishing the gesture of the pose, mainly to solve the movement of the torso and the overall flow of the figure. Notice how the torso has a slight bend to it, which helps make the pose feel a bit more dynamic and less static. I also like to draw the limbs using simple flat shapes at first, just to establish the movement. Once you have that base, you can decide whether to build on top of it using simple forms like boxes and cylinders, especially for the torso, as Andrew suggested, or move on to more complex forms by indicating some musculature and contour lines.
