From this angle, the neck typically connects slightly farther back, following the line of the nose. If you draw a straight guideline downward from the nose, you'll notice how it aligns more naturally with the front connection of the neck. I also included a few examples showing how the neck connects in a profile view, along with some simple “X-ray” sketches of a 3/4 view so you can better understand the underlying structure and how the neck attaches to the head and torso.
