But I'd suggest reducing the size of the character so we can see the arm and not cut it, it's not recommended to cut the limbs. Instead, it's better if we can see them. We can see the arm that's resting in the book, while we can also see the other arm holding the mug. On the other hand. Ensure the objects share the same perspective. We're looking at the character from above, which means we have a 3rd point perspective angle, but the way you drew the mug tells us that there's another horizon line because the ellipses are too narrow (the closer the ellipses are to the HL, the narrow will be, and vice versa). We should see the ellipses rounder! Remember that drawing simple shapes like boxes and cylinders helps us to solve the perspective before doing a refined drawing. Hope this helps!
