What can I improve?

Its been a while so its simple but i wanted to know if the gradient in the sky is a sky effect or photo affect and if i should add it if i see it in a reference? also how much time should be spent on rendering for final touches? Additionally again any mistakes or enhances to be made to this would be appreciated
