Hey! I know that you said not to upload just the latest work BUT my latest piece is the most challenging one for me yet! Since I never went this far in my mostly raw unfinished illustrations. As you can see, it's still not finished! It's done mostly from imagination with a few refs to aid my idea. And this is my pain point, it's very hard for me to just... finish something? When I spend too many days on something I lose interest and just abandon a piece. And it doesn't help me that I think I am at my ceiling with my poor rendering skills either. How to refine stuff? When to push and when to stop to avoid overrendering? Anatom/gesture and color are my favourite fundamentals and I think I am decent in composition... hopefully. I usually need to check my values but here I think I did an okay job. Any other feedback would be great. What do I seem to lack? I love painterly and loose yet realistic styles and I strive to achieve just that. I want from my art mostly this: storytelling done believably, in semi-realism. But something is missing.
