June Sketchbook Challenge Day 4

Hello, Here is my submission for day 4 of the June Sketchbook challenge. Based on feedback from my previous submission, I wanted to practice figure proportions using head counts. I am really happy with this study, because I was able to self correct and redirect during the process which I am proud of; specifically, I ended up having to redraw the 6.5 heads figure's legs because I miscalculated where the halfway point was. I was just really happy I was able to self diagnose the problem when I knew something was off. I have a couple questions that root from this study. 1. I believe I successfully stuck to the head proportions, but I think I am a bit lost on some of the rules of figure proportions. I understand that the halfway point of the figure is right at the groin, and that the forearms end at the bottom of the ribcage which guided a lot of my self correction. There are some concepts I don't understand quite yet though: I ended up drawing all of the shoulder lines at the same height, should the chin to shoulder distance change when working in a 6.5 head structure compared to an 8 head or 7.5 head structure? 2. Is changing the head count structure how you actually change the height of a character? Or is there a different way that works? 3. This study is all well and good, but how can I go about internalizing this and in addition use this knowledge for drawing in diverse angles? I plan to do one with a female body as well after some feedback. I know this is a lot of convoluted questions, so if there is only one specific question you want to answer that's fine. Thanks so much!
