Hello! I am looking forward to the sketchbook challenge as a way to get to have some more fun drawing. I have been focusing hard on trying to improve my fundamentals and working digitally, so having my comfort zone of the sketchbook be the challenge is a welcome thing. What I want to work on some more is the perspective of my characters and the proportions. I think my perspective is good enough at a glance, but I think it might be inconsistent. As for proportions, I am trying to learn to be more intentional with them. My characters' proportions tend to feel like super heroes or really tall and slender. I'm fine with that sometimes, but it isn't being done intentionally, it's just a result of me trying to obey human proportions as best as I can. The characters shirt is a direct reference to a clothing item in Zelda Breath of the Wild, and that game's characters have proportions that I like. They feel slightly stockier than the characters I usually end up drawing. I have a vague idea that 7 heads tall is a bit more of an average proportion for characters, but I would love some tips on how to intentionally play with character proportions. Thank you! | Artwod Feedback
