Hey there! The character concept is really cool and works well as a thumbnail. Now, regardless of the direction you decide to take in terms of rendering, I’d highly recommend resolving the design by tracing over what you already have. You don’t have to follow the exact silhouette you painted; remember that many things can change during the process. But again, trace over what you have and correct the anatomy (the arm was a bit too long), and start resolving the design of the outfit, the character’s weapon, the companion (whether you draw a specific bird or modify its design to create a different kind of bird), etc. For this, you don’t need to make a drawing with perfectly clean linework. You can keep a clean sketch and then start painting on top of it. Look for some examples, like Antonio's drawings. He usually works with a mix of line and painting. Now, another important thing: have references that match the direction you want to take for your final design. This could be something like a mix between refined and sketchy, something very polished, or simply clean linework with flat painting in grayscale or colour. Sorry for the delay!
