Hey! When drawing gestures, do not focus on forms (like drawing the shape of the torso or the pelvis box), instead, focus on the motion and rhythm of the pose. Focus on the I, C, and S lines (like the S line in the leg I drew in the second pose). Notice how I simplify the torso by drawing a "bean shape" that allows me to separate it into three torso masses: rib cage, abdomen, and pelvis. Describe volumes using overlaps and wrapping lines. Knowing perspective is important for this. Look for videos on YouTube of people drawing gestures or by learning the "Force" method. Hope this helps!
