This is a long journey. But what I’d recommend is that, for now, you focus only on seeing everything in simple forms like boxes or cylinders. Avoid adding more complex shapes before you understand how to draw these forms in space. To achieve this, I also recommend learning perspective and form manipulation, since anatomy largely depends on these fundamentals (learning muscles is like the cherry on top lol). There are different platforms where you can learn. Artwod being my first recommendation. The Intro to Drawing roadmap would be your foundation, followed by Intro to Figures. Completing these two roadmaps will give you a solid foundation for drawing more complex subjects. If that’s not an option for you, you can check out material on YouTube like Proko, which has a playlist on figure drawing. It starts from the basics, such as drawing the torso using “beans,” and gradually moves into more complex topics like muscles. Another option, not focused on the human figure but on perspective and drawing fundamentals, is Drawabox. But overall, I’d recommend spending some time focusing on perspective and form manipulation (Artwod or Drawabox). These two aspects are the most fundamental. Hope this helps and keep sharing what you do! :D | Artwod Feedback
