Hey there! So cool illustration so far! I adjusted the lighting since it was kind of dark. First and foremost, I painted the sky with a light blue; by doing that, the composition starts to look a bit brighter. Then I made the background values slightly brighter to add a bit more depth, since the character and BG values were too close. Here, you can start to see a better separation between the character and the BG. I added some light shapes to the buildings to make them more visually appealing, especially because the lighting is coming from the left; therefore, some of the planes facing the sun should be lit. The character itself needs to be brighter, so I add shadows and increase the lit areas. The bees weren't visible since they were painted in greys, but by adjusting all these aspects and painting them yellow, you can clearly see them now. Reduce the amount of foliage on the FG to leave more space for the ground plane, which helps give more space to the character. Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
