Hey there! Nice job so far! :D So, from what I saw in references of how some artists paint the hair with this kind of light, the ribbon shapes that are closer to the light source do not have any kind of gradient, just a graphic light shape, but those that are farther have more gradients or details they have. Think about this as if you were painting a sphere. Make the shadows darker to create a better contrast, and again, think about the planes that are facing the light source and those that are just affected by the ambient light. Which means that we won't see light shapes on the left side. Hope this helps!
