The proportions were a bit off. The eyes were too close together. Normally there is about one eye-width of space between them. When the right eye is drawn too close, the nose ends up looking smaller as well. The lips were also a bit small. What I did was separate the eyes slightly and improve the structure of the nose, making it a bit wider both at the base and along the bridge. The hair actually looks good! But I think it would be enough to paint the main masses of hair instead of drawing every single strand. As long as you suggest the volume, that should be enough in my opinion. You could also look up human face proportion guides, like the one I attached below. It’s based on the Andrew Loomis method, where the face follows some simple guidelines, for example, the distance between the eyes is roughly the width of one eye, which helps keep facial proportions balanced.
