Hello, Very nice Grey matter impression. The volumes and the colors are nicely done. For the cast shadow I think you should keep your perspective ON in order to keep the sense of it. On the redraw I apply a clear light source (bubble light) in order to keep in mind the direction of your cast shadow. it's just a little trick that you can throw away when you're done with, but it will help you keep consistency. If we look at your shadows in general, the light feels like coming slightly from the front and above your character. So from left to right. The shadow you draw to drescribe the elbow of the for arm should be less imposing and just a bit more in the perspective. Keep the perspective in the center of your priority when shading, it will help you keep a sense of logic and believability. (here we have a flat plane for the ground) I also decided to colored two of the fingers and forearm of the arm coming toward us. Placing your shadow just above your character would have shade most of the "under" part of your character like on the drawings example above mitigating for example the light under your eyes as well as the mouth and how much we can see inside. It's up to you to choose which direction you want to go. Nice work so far ! For more details and questions Feel free to reach me on Artwod Discord @Shadlow | Artwod Feedback
