Very nice work of inking. In order to improve your workflow, I would suggest to ask few questions before you start your drawing. Most of the time it's mainly problem solving what's in front of you (whether it's nature, streets and so on) You can ask yourself question like "What am I watching?", "Is it above or under me?", "which simple form can I use?" This type of questions are made first to get a better grasp of your subject and also kickstart your thinking process while drawing/painting/inking/... Asking those kind of questions will help you figure out the perspective, the shapes you see and the whole background. I'll suggest you simplify your drawing, by working with simple forms and shapes. Outdoor drawing can be tedious and you never know when you will have to move on. Laying down those basic shapes and forms can save you time as you will already have a clear drawing and so a plan of action. Adding details become less stressfull as you can add them later on when you have more time to do so. Regarding the shadingand textures, I think you've done a good job. I can see here and there that some stones would need a bit of care by working on your quality line. We're speaking thin versus Thick line. You could use thick line to describe shadows as you did for most of the stones while part that are in the light appear thin and less present. The back wall of the stream is the one I think should get much love by keeping the sens of the stone or counter it. (I draw two examples under the page) The idea here is to emphasize the volume of the form by adding shadows. The shadow should always support and enhance the volume of the form. I used a technic called "Form wrapping" a concept that Artwod is teaching and that help not only simplify you drawing but also improve your drawing in general. Give it a try ;) https://youtube.com/shorts/ylm5tvuMrUE?si=DXUbHRX0mlUDpgS_ https://youtu.be/Zm3I9b5S7SI?si=7YC0UzYZKzOmPJPz I which you good work. Julien.
