Hey there! This is so cool! really love how it looks so far! :D I made a minor correction to the anatomy/figure, especially the legs, they were really confusing since I didn't know where the knees were hehe. And you need to have in mind the twisting that the torso is doing, so you can draw the abdomen following that gesture. Regarding the rendering. It will take you a lot of time, so you'll have to be patient with that. You can block your shadow and light shapes in order to know what kind of lighting you'll be using. Don't use a pure black for the shadow shapes; maybe a 40% value would be great since you can paint the ambient occlusions, bounce light, midvalues, and so on over that base. But generally speaking, keep it simple at the beginning with two values and from there, move on to adding more values. One thing I'd do is that I'd paint a full range of values at the top and keep a mid-range or dark range of values at the bottom. That way, you avoid having everything with the same value range. Or grab a reference from Steven (I'd love to have his technique haha) and mimic the same lighting scenario in your illustration. Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
