Hi, i find when learning or trying new things it's best to simplify so its only the new thing that is challenging. Therefore I'd recomnend practising with simple 3D shapes first until mastered then try more complicated shapes. Painting a sphere is easier than an eye so you can focus on the rendering technique. Once your spheres / cylinders/ cubes are in the style you want then you can move onto eyes/ faces/ etc.Hi, i find when learning or trying new things it's best to simplify so its only the new thing that is challenging. Once your spheres / cylinders/ cubes are in the style you want then you can move onto eyes/ faces/ etc.Create a clipping mask / selection of chosen shape so you focus on brush strokes not edges of the shape.Use a textured brush with 100% opacity but pen pressure flow. Use large brushstrokes with light pressure. When happy with results move onto more complicated subjects but breakdown into simple shapes and paint each shape at a timewith a large brush on a new layer then erase so only the shape is filled.. Also don't worry about perfection, treat them as rough studies, its more important to create large numbers of paintings to get better. | Artwod Feedback
