Hello there! So good! It looks so dynamic! :D Just a few small adjustments would make it stand out even more! The technique of painting in grayscale first and then applying colour using gradients is a great one! However, after that stage, the illustration can feel a bit flat if you don’t further refine areas like highlights, ambient occlusion, and other subtle value shifts. First, I pushed the shadows a bit more, especially around the bent leg and areas that aren’t exposed to the light. Then I adjusted the lights, increasing illumination on the hand, the cards, the face, and the artifact (I can’t remember the name of it). I also added a bit of atmospheric perspective to the leg and the coat, particularly on the coat, to better separate its values from the hair, since both originally had very similar values. Finally, I adjusted the levels to further refine the value structure overall. Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
