Hey Dan, well done here, buddy! It's a good start, but let's go a step back to the base of your knight. The key aspect is your perspective You can see that the perspective is quite off. I traced the red lines over your drawing so you can see they diverge. Remember, the lines should converge toward the same vanishing point. Notice that the small mannequin on the right has its body aligned with the perspective. You can always use simple boxes and cylinders to draw the mannequin; there's no need to go with something complex, but ensure the base is solid before jumping into drawing the armour. On the other hand. I don't understand what kind of helmet you wanted to draw, so I drew a simple or generic one. It's always great to show references (in case you're using refs, and I highly recommend you use them :D) The thing is that you need to understand the basic wrapping shapes to be able to draw the object from different angles. Use this concept and apply it to the helmet you have in mind :) Form manipulation and wrapping shapes are the key concepts here. Hope this helps!
