Hey, Lloyd! So cool design! :D As I said in the video. The pose would look more natural/better if you add a twist at the top of the torso, so that the head can turn towards the camera; the other way felt too forced or uncomfortable Ensure the body is following the perspective! :D The way I think you can solve the issue with the hands is drawing one hand open, where the staff is held with the fingers, and the other hand is more closed. Hope this helps!

Late post, fell asleep after got back from vacation. I drew these three from references to sharpen my visual library. Probably as much as i needed before hopping into drawing from imagination. To me, there's a lot room for improvements, because these drawing still not great. If you have any advices, truly i'd be grateful to hear it. Ignore the top left, its from yesterday :)
