Hey! Love your work! I did a quick little paint-over just to show you some things I think could help. I definitely could’ve spent a little longer on it, but I didn’t have a ton of time haha. Also, this is actually my first time giving someone art advice like this, so hopefully it helps! For the rendering, I’d focus first on pushing your values a bit more. I felt like you were a little afraid to go really dark with the shadows, so adding more contrast would help everything pop. I’d also try using a harder brush more often. I noticed there was a lot of airbrushing, which made most of the edges really soft and caused some areas to feel a little muddy. Having a mix of hard and soft edges will make things feel a lot more defined. And lastly, try simplifying your colors! For things like grass, leather, etc., you can usually stick to just 2–3 main colors—a base color, a shadow, and a highlight—and build from there. I felt like there were a few too many colors being introduced, which can make rendering harder than it needs to be. Hope the paint-over helps!! :) | Artwod Feedback
