Helloo Solus, I feel like you gave yourself the critique you need. You always want be thinking about your values. I suggest Having in mind the hierarchy of the priorities. Something like: Values -> Shapes and proportions -> Form -> Colors -> Edges/textures and details Everytime you go into a study go through these in that order, once you get something solid, go check again in that same order, keep doing that and you'll get better results.

I’m not exactly happy with this one, and I can see in my shadows that I missed a bit of bounce light. However, I really struggled to nail down the hue shifts around the left part of my apple. I can see a bit of reddish-orange toward the bottom left and a slight yellowish-lime color around the highlight, but I had trouble blending these areas properly. I wasn't thinking too much about my values because I was so distracted. Does anyone have any critique?
