Hey there! The illustration already looks great! :D I think the main thing you could work on is adjusting the shadows to describe better the volume you're looking for. To do that, you need to keep the direction of the light in mind. Otherwise, it's very easy to place lights and shadows somewhat randomly. You could try using a three-quarter lighting setup and shade the planes that aren't facing the light. You can also use the Asaro Head as a study reference to understand better which planes of the head should be receiving light and which ones should fall into shadow. As for the hair... I'm definitely not an expert at painting hair, so I probably didn't do the best job with it haha. But when painting hair, try to think about the individual shapes or sections of the hair and which planes are facing the light versus which ones aren't. This will help you describe the overall volume much more effectively. I'd also recommend looking for examples that are similar to the painting style you're going for and studying how those artists handle the shapes, lighting, and volume of the hair. :) Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
