The way you rotated the box tilted it towards the viewer, changing its relationship to the horizon line you established. This can get confusing when studying with 1- or 2-point perspective grids like this, since the box is no longer following the grid. Something else I want to point out is that you are mixing 2-point with 3-point, which cause all sorts of problems. When using grids for 3-point you want the scene sitting below or above the horizon line to avoid distortion (examples in the top left).
